How do I renew the grant?

You don’t have to do anything to renew the Google Ad Grant. The program renews automatically as long as your account stays in good standings and follows the Google Ad Grant policy.

What is required to stay in the program?

Ad Grants accounts must have:

  • Specific geo-targeting to so your ads in locations where users will find your nonprofit’s information and services useful.
  • Minimum of 2 active ad groups per campaign with 2 unique text ads.
  • Minimum of 2 unique sitelinks ads active.
  • Must maintain a 5% click-through rate (CTR) on the account level each month.
  • Uphold a keyword quality score of 3 or above.
  • Must have conversion tracking setup.
  • You cannot use the homepage or frequently used pages as conversion goals.
  • Do not include commercial advertising.
  • Ads and keywords should match your programs and services.
